Hit-and-run crash reported in front of Kissimmee school on first day back

A hit-and-run crash was reported in front of a high school on the first day back to school in Kissimmee.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the call came in just before 6 a.m. Monday on Boggy Creek Road at Nele Road, in front of Tohopekaliga High School.

A roadblock was reported along Boggy Creek Road near the school.

FHP told WESH 2 that troopers and fire rescue responded to the area but could not find anyone involved in the crash.

Officials said the crash was reported by a passerby, and no one involved called to report it.

Boggy Creek Road has since reopened.
